Body for Life are pleased to be able to offer Physiotherapy services as part of our Allied Health offering. Our Physiotherapists assess, diagnose, plan and manage the care of patients across a broad range of areas in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and neurological problems. They help patients with acute and chronic pain management, rehabilitation and self-management advice. They prescribe and supervise exercises, recommend lifestyle modifications and provide health promotion education. Our physiotherapists can also help with occupational health assessments and injury management and prevention.

Matt graduated from Curtin University in 2011 and started his physiotherapy career in the community setting, working with a private home visit company. In this role, he has completed geriatric, neurological, orthopaedic and cardiovascular rehabilitation as well as musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, mainly in the workplace setting.
During his three years as a community physio, he and his wife Helene took a break for 6 months and moved to Nice, France so Helene could complete her business school exchange program through Curtin University.
Matt’s passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy led him to join a musculoskeletal private practice in 2014. Most of the time since then has been spent in a clinic in Willetton. In his years in private practice, he has overseen a huge range of musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Patients from all walks of life being treated, including patients and athletes with sports injuries and loading related pains, workplace injuries, chronic pain, motor vehicle accidents and post-operative rehabilitation. At Body for Life, Amber leads our team of physiotherapists. She manages the physio service offerings, including exercise classes. Amber provides mentoring and 1:1 support for our team members and directs their professional development.
Amber completed her Physiotherapy degree at Notre Dame University in 2013 and has worked in a variety of clinical areas since. After gaining experience in private practice, private hospital care and home visiting physiotherapy, she has discovered her true passion; helping young families, particularly women, in her local community.
Over the years, Amber has gained particular interest in pregnancy pain management, returning to exercise after birth, pelvic floor screening assessments and gym exercise programs. She is able to treat all musculoskeletal pains and injuries as well as postoperative rehabilitation including hip and knee replacements and spinal surgery. Amber is trained in dry needling and is able to help people with BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo). Read More >>
